Lesson 8 About Machine Learning
Computer systems’ operations to modify internal status by themselves after interactions with outside of the systems. This is one of technology components of AI, which includes Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, and Reinforcement Learning.
Supervised Learning
Learning procedure using a data set which consists of ‘data’ and‘teaching data’. It can be used to conduct regression analysis which estimates future values from previous data, and classification, for example, which detects what each image includes. This technology is often used for value estimation, such as future sales expectation, as one of regression analysis cases, and for human detection from camera image data, as one of classification cases.
Unsupervised Learning
This method requires no teaching data, which is mandatory for‘supervised learning’ Clustering, which is to analyze the characteristics of the existing data, is one example of this method.
Reinforcement Learning
This method is to realize the best system control, with regard to a calculated score, by trying something on the existing question by themselves.
